A quiet chat with the big guy
The kids went to have their annual chat with Santa tonight. We are willing to drive an hour to go visit with the real deal. The Stanford Shopping Center rates the REAL Santa.
The kids had figured out what they were asking for. Ruthie wants a Littlest Pet Shop Digital Puppy and Butterscotch the Pony. Butterscotch is a nearly lifesize pony that is "interactive" and retails for more than $300. Greg explained that Santa may be magic but he can't get a pony down the chimney. Gage wants Thrillville, a game by Lucas Arts that only works on one of the video game systems which we don't have. Oh joy. Gage also wants a "surprise" -- that, thankfully, is in the realm of the possible!
Santa's going to be working overtime trying to figure something out.
